It’s not often now a days that I hear a song that comes on the radio that makes me pause. Now that the concept of the record label is fading away and more and more bands are venturing out with “garage band” software the internet and digital downloads. Those key ingredients have pretty much made the music industry a wide open playing field. A market where artist have a lot more freedom to put out the kind of songs both musically and lyrically that push the boundries out there pretty far now.
I did however hear a new song on the radio recently that did in fact make me pause for a second. It’s the new song by Nickelback that odds are you will only hear played on the radio in the later hours of the evening. The song is called Something In Your Mouth and it is a rockin party song no doubt. Like I said though I had to pause a little bit when I heard some of the lyrics, WoW.
