Linkin Park continue to thrive with their third studio album Minutes to Midnight solidly in the books now. They continue to tour in the United States with some dates in Asia and China also scheduled for later this year as their Projekt Revolution tour continues to roll on.
Despite the recent departure of Busta Rhymes after only two weeks on the tour. Speculation is that there was an altercation between Busta Rhymes and one of the boys from Linkin Park. Plus the recent business decision for Busta Rhymes to leave Interscope records and go back to Murder Inc. It appears that Dr. Dre and Irv Gotti came to some sort of agreement and Dr. Dre is letting Busta Rhymes out of his contract. So it looks like the Blessed album will be the last for Busta Rhymes with the Interscope family.
So the Projekt Revolution tour continues to rock shows around the world despite the lack of a hip hop artist on the list of included players. In case you have been in bubble void of music news the other acts in the line up are Chris Cornell, Ashes Divide, Atreyu and the Bravery. They have three more dates scheduled to finish out the month of august in Dallas, TX. Then what looks to be a well deserved month off for September before they head out to Taiwan and China for three dates that have been scheduled for in October. Although I believe these dates are for just Linkin Park.
There is also already good news coming from Chester Bennington that he and his band mates area already planning to get back into studio and start working on the next album. Plus he intends to finish up his solo album at the same time.
